Dr. James S. Linder, board certified in ophthalmology, earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed additional training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was a senior staff physician at Henry Ford for three years before moving back to Memphis and joining UT Medical Group. During this time, he was involved in various clinical trials, residency training, and chief of ophthalmology at the Regional Medical Center. Dr. Linder has been in private practice in Memphis since 2003. Dr. Linder travels to Jackson several times per month for patient evaluations and surgical procedures.
